His recovery was not just a return to health—it was a transformation into a source of healing for others.

Today, Timber is ready to visit those in need, offering his gentle presence to those coping with trauma, anxiety, grief, and stress. Whether resting his head in someone’s lap or simply laying nearby, Timber reminds people that healing is possible—even after unimaginable pain.

With one soulful eye and a calming presence, Timber doesn’t just visit. He connects. He listens without judgment. And in doing so, he helps others find a little more peace, one paw at a time.

FRODO

〰️

FRODO 〰️

Frodo is an Aussie Doodle who surprised everyone with his size and spirit. While his litter was expected to stay under 30 pounds, Frodo grew into a healthy and happy 50-pound dog—bigger than his look-alike sister, Hazel. As a pup, Frodo struggled with motion sickness and socialization, which made early training a challenge.

Frodo's journey into obedience wasn’t easy. In his first class at Snake River Four Paws, he was reactive and resistant to training. But thanks to his owner’s patience and commitment, Frodo developed trust, confidence, and solid obedience skills. He returned for a second class and impressed everyone with his progress and poise.

With his newfound confidence, Frodo was evaluated for a therapy dog role—and passed with flying colors. He joined the canine therapy program, once again exceeding expectations. His calm, empathetic nature makes him a perfect fit for offering comfort and support where it’s needed most.

Frodo’s owner brings a background in law enforcement and victim advocacy, which makes their partnership especially meaningful. Frodo has already supported victims before and after courtroom testimony and continues to comfort individuals during high-stress interviews and traumatic events. He also offers support to first responders during times of crisis.

At his core, Frodo is a loving, gentle soul who thrives on human connection. Whether offering a calming presence on a call or playing fetch and tug-of-war with Hazel at home, he brings joy and comfort wherever he goes. He’s also a local favorite at coffee stands, where baristas know him by name and treat him like a celebrity.
