Cass Frary, Founder

Cass is the founder of 4 Paws Foundation, an organization dedicated to bringing comfort and connection to the community through the healing presence of therapy dogs. With over 30 years of dog training experience, Cass has a deep understanding of canine behavior and a lifelong passion for helping others. She is an active K9 Search and Rescue handler and also competes in dog sports—reflecting her ongoing commitment to excellence in the field. Cass founded 4 Paws to unite her love of dogs with her dedication to serving people in meaningful, compassionate ways.

Amity Larsen, Director

Amity brings a background in criminal justice and psychology and has been a professional dog trainer for more than 10 years. Amity has been giving back to communities through Search and Rescue as a K9 handler for the last 10 years. She has a passion for helping those in need and is eager to support the 4 Paws Foundation's mission.

Michelle Barnes, Director

Michelle is a lifelong valley resident and a former educator in the Asotin-Anatone School District. She enjoys competing locally in agility and rally classes with one of her two labradors. Michelle also is an avid horse person riding in the backcountry and supporting the local chapter of Back Country Horsemen. She is honored to be a small part of this endeavor to support the residents of our wonderful community.

Michelle Sellers, Director

Michelle is a second grade teacher with a strong passion for children’s mental health and education. She is the proud owner of Louie, a certified therapy dog, and together they love supporting kids in and out of the classroom. Michelle enjoys traveling, kayaking, and spending time with her family. She’s excited to bring her love for animals and commitment to child well-being to the 4 Paws Foundation board.

Charleen Young, Director

Charleen, a board member of the 4 Paws Foundation, is a business professional with a strong passion for canine training and welfare. Her objective is to leverage her expertise to provide comfort and support to individuals in need. Char actively engages in outdoor activities and dedicates her time to working with and training her personal dogs.
